But as we all know there is much always going on under the surface, hidden from view, which always means there is much to look forward to in spring. ZOOM Talks

Meantime, below is a reminder of the first speaker meeting planned for 7 February 2022 and our AGM on 7 March 2022.

7 FEBRUARY 2022 – ZOOM SPEAKER MEETING: Geoff Hodge will be our Zoom Speaker for the evening to talk about ‘The 12-Month Garden – Colour All Year Round’. Geoff is a gardening and horticultural writer, author, editor and radio broadcaster. His aim is to help gardeners get the best from their plants and garden and is someone you can ask plant and gardening questions to in order to help solve your gardening problems and get help, hints, tips and advice.

NB: Due to the COVID situation, Geoff agreed to provide a ZOOM talk for us for February 2022. The details to log-on to the meeting are outlined below. You can log-on from 7.00 pm and the talk will start at 7.30 pm. We will also send out a reminder nearer the time.

Time: Feb 7, 2022 07:00 PM London

Geoff has set the start time for the Zoom meeting for 7pm, so members can log on before the talk starts to check they have the correct set up and chat to other members if you wish. He has suggested that we log on at 7pm, so we can check that everything is working fine.

HPSMG AGM

7 MARCH 2022 – AGM. We will be holding our AGM in March 2022 in the hope of a reduced COVID risk and better weather conditions than February might bring. We hope this will enable as many members as possible to attend.

We also hope to continue with the wonderful Plant Sales during our 2022 ‘live’ meetings, our Raffles, the sale of cards and, of course, please remember our seed collections - if you have spare seeds – please bring them along.

Meanwhile, we very much hope that 2022 is going to be a better year for everyone – especially with more opportunities to meet up together again at Field End Road School - and we look forward to seeing you all soon. Until then all best wishes for 2022.
